What is 40Winks?
40Winks uses the power of online group buying to bring you unbeatable money saving
offers from hotels and resorts worldwide.
How often do I receive emails telling me about the offers?
An email will be sent several times a week summarising the most popular offers on
the site. If you see an offer that you like, just click on the link and it will
take you directly to the page where you can view further information and buy the
offer.
I would like to buy the offer – how do I do this?
Just click "BUY IT" before the offer ends. If the minimum number of people purchase
the offer we will charge your card and send you an email to print your 40Winks
voucher. If we do not attract the minimum number of people then the 40Winks offer
is cancelled and your credit/debit card will not be charged. So invite all of your
friends to join 40Winks to be sure you get the offer!
When do I receive my 40Winks voucher?
All vouchers are sent 24 hours after the offer closes. So, for example, if you purchase
a offer which closes at midnight on Sunday, you will not receive your voucher until
midnight on Monday – 24 hours later. Your voucher/s will be sent to you in an email
but you can also view and print them by logging into your 40Winks account.
What happens if the 40Winks offer doesn’t reach the minimum number of purchasers
to activate the offer?
If the offer doesn't reach its minimum number needed then it is cancelled and your
credit/debit card will not be charged.
Why must there be a minimum number of purchasers?
40Winks is only able to secure such fantastic discounts from our hotel and resort
partners by agreeing to generate them a guaranteed number of purchases.
How long do I have to use my 40Winks voucher?
The validity period is different for each offer. This will always be stated clearly
in the offer terms. Vouchers are valid to redeem from 24 hours after the offer closes
to give businesses time to prepare.
I have bought a 40Winks voucher - how do I use it?
Once the offer has closed and your card has been debited you will receive an email
with a link to download and print your voucher. You can also log into your 40Winks
account to view and print your voucher.
Once you have your printed voucher, simply take it to the business named and redeem
it as you would any other coupon.
Can I buy a 40Winks offer as a gift for someone else?
You certainly can! When purchasing a offer you have the option of specifying the
name of the person you will be gifting it to. Enter their name and continue with
the purchase and 24 hours after the offer closes you will be sent the voucher which
you can then send on to them by email, or print it off and give it to them directly!

If I don't use the full value of the 40Winks voucher in one visit, can I use the
remainder later?
No. Unless otherwise stated you do not receive credit or cash-back for whatever
value of the voucher you don't use.
Can I combine my 40Winks voucher with any other offers from the business?
Unfortunately 40Winks vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
or pre-existing booking.
What will you do with my credit card and billing information?
We use a fully PCI DSS compliant credit card processing company called Sage Pay
(formerly Protx). All your information is transmitted via a Secure Socket Layer
connection (SSL) and is fully encrypted. This and your other personal information
is safe and secure and will only ever be used for your intended purpose. The secure
padlock image on your browser confirms this. We will not store your credit card
details on our servers and none of our staff have access to any of your payment
details at any time.
Can I return a 40Winks voucher?
Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Unless there is something wrong with
the purchase we are generally unable to offer refunds. If you would like to discuss

What happens if I copy my 40Winks voucher and give it to a friend?
Each voucher has a unique reference number linked to your purchase and can only
be redeemed once. We strongly discourage anyone from copying the voucher or passing
on the voucher number to any other person as once the voucher has been redeemed
it cannot be used again.
Each business has a list of every voucher that has been purchased and its unique
number and they will mark off the voucher once it has been redeemed to prevent fraudulent
activity.
How can I get my business on 40Winks?

How can I get my password if I can't remember it?
It’s nice and easy, simply click "Sign in" on the left hand menu, then when the
login box appears click "Forgotten password?" underneath the login button. Then
enter your username, email or mobile phone number and your password will then be
emailed to the address registered to your account.
What time can I check in/out?
Check in and out times will be different for each offer. This will be clearly stated
on the offer terms.
How do I book my stay?
You need to call the hotel direct to book your stay and we highly recommend you
call as soon as you can – all reservations are subject to availability. You will
need to book and stay before the expiration date printed on the voucher.
Help! How do I get there?
Unless otherwise stipulated:
- Overseas offers do not include flights
- UK offers do not include transport to the hotel
Location maps and addresses are provided to enable you to make suitable arrangements.
Is breakfast/dinner included in the price?
Each offer will have different terms and inclusions for the price you pay. This
information will be clearly stated on each individual offer so you are aware of
the inclusions prior to purchasing.
How many people is the voucher valid for?
Again, this varies from offer to offer and it will be clearly stated in the terms.
However, most offers are for two people sharing a room. If you would like to add
extra people please call the hotel and check with them before purchasing your voucher.
Please note that this will incur an additional charge which will need to be paid
directly to the hotel.
